About Strength Programming

Your program is written before you walk in the door. Not generated by an app. Not pulled from a template on the internet. A certified coach — NSCA-CSCS or USAW Level 2 — builds a periodized plan around your numbers, your schedule, and where you're actually trying to go. Three or four days a week, you train with that program in hand and a coach watching every working set at a 6:1 ratio. That's not supervision in theory. That's someone standing there, counting your reps, catching your form, and adjusting load in real time.

Periodization means your training builds on itself. Week over week, cycle over cycle, the weights go up because the program is designed to make that happen — not because you randomly decided to add five pounds and hoped for the best. Your numbers are tracked in a private app, so the progress isn't a feeling. It's a record. You can see exactly where you started and exactly how far you've moved.

This is how competitive lifters train. IRONROOT has been built around that model since 2017, founded by a national-level powerlifter who understood that most people don't need more intensity — they need more structure. Strength Programming is that structure, applied to your body, coached by someone who knows what they're doing, with no long-term contract holding you in place. You stay because the bar keeps moving.

Frequently asked questions

What does Strength Programming involve?

Every program is written by a certified coach — not generated by an app — and every working set you do is watched at a 6:1 athlete-to-coach ratio. That means your lifts, your loads, and your progression are tracked and adjusted by someone who actually knows what they're looking at. You're not following a generic plan. You're following yours.

How much does Strength Programming cost?

Membership is month-to-month — no contracts, no lock-in, cancel anytime. Pricing is straightforward and posted on our website, so book a free intro and we'll walk you through exactly what fits your goals and budget. You won't be pressured, and you won't be surprised.

How long does Strength Programming take?

Most sessions run 60 minutes. That's enough time to warm up, hit your working sets under a coach's eye, and log your numbers — nothing wasted, nothing rushed. The program is written for your schedule, not around a class bell.

What our customers say

Lifted more in six months here than in six years at the chain gym. They actually program for me.
Andrea L. Denver, intermediate lifter
I was 47 and convinced I was past it. Squatting 225 now and not hurting.
Marcus R. Denver, returning lifter
First gym where the coach knows last session's numbers when I walk in.
Theresa K. Portland, beginner
Came in to lose weight. Two years later I'm benching my bodyweight and the weight took care of itself.
